Ensure All Women Living with HIV Have Access to Rights-Based Maternal Health!
The International Community of Women Living with HIV (ICW) joins maternal health advocates, researchers, and providers all over the world today in recognizing the World Maternal health and Rights Day. We are committed to advancing the vices of women living with HIV in actions aimed at; ending human rights abuses and promoting skilled and dignified care. We urge governments, policy makers and all stakeholders to make comprehensive, respectful, and rights-based maternal health care available to women and girls of reproductive age and particularly to women living with HIV.
ICW calls upon women to demand accountability from their governments for maternal health care, and to advocate for increased access to health information and services.
