ICWAP organised five days TOT on feminist leadership

To nurture and develop women living with HIV (including young women) as strong leaders to safeguard the sustainability of the network and to more broadly ensure that the issues of women living with HIV are articulated and strongly represented.

  • To develop an in-depth understanding of the gendered nuances of women and HIV
  • To explore the links between human rights, women’s rights and feminism in the context of sexual and reproductive health and rights
  • To develop skills in leadership, accountability and representation
  • To build competence and understanding in advocacy opportunities to improve policy and program.

It was great cross learning for each country an understanding the commonalities and differentiation within the diversity of women living with HIV to shape advocacy agenda for movement building within and cross movement.
