Express, Share and Support

LOVE POSITIVE WOMEN: Romance Starts at Home (LPW) is a two-week holiday from February 1 – 14th. This year there were over 85 different actions that we captured reaching and engaging thousands of ICW members and our partners. Some highlights were that Visual AIDS, Genderfest and a number of other individuals and institutions created over 500+ handmade valentines made and sent to women living with HIV all over the world. The WHO, ICASO, IAS, WGNRR and a number of other partners made beautiful posters and created social media campaigns for LPW as well as fun all staff photos from POZ Magazine, the Canadian HIV AIDS Legal Network and Hope, Love, Faith in the Ukraine.

While communities in every region participated, there was a lot of enthusiasm from networks and individuals in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It was even on the NEWS in Kazakhstan. To find out more about all the gestures of love please visit and ‘like’ the LPW Facebook page.
